Flaim Trainer

Flaim Trainer is a firefighter training solution that combines VR with a suite of haptics including a force feedback hose, breathing apparatus and heat suit which enables firefighters to train in scenarios that are either inherently unsafe and difficult to reproduce, no longer possible due to environmental, community and regulatory constraints or incur significant training cost in time, people and assets. I worked on Flaim Trainer from 2018 to 2021 as part of my work with EXP and I’m enormously grateful to have worked with an awesome team on a project that makes a practical real world difference in my community, especially after the 2019–20 Australian bushfire season.
